Is it called Gurgaon or Gurugram?

Both are in use. The Haryana government renamed the city Gurugram, and the Union Government approved the change on 27 September 2016. Gurgaon is still the name most people use, and both names appear on listings.

Which RERA do I check for a Gurgaon project?

HRERA Gurugram. Haryana has one authority for Gurugram district and another for the rest of the state, so Gurgaon projects are registered with the Gurugram authority.

When did the Dwarka Expressway open?

The 18.9 km Haryana stretch was inaugurated in March 2024 and the full 27.6 km route became operational in June 2025, according to the sources listed below.

Is there a metro to Cyber City?

Rapid Metro already serves Cyber City and links to the Delhi Metro Yellow Line at Sikanderpur. A separate 28.5 km Gurugram Metro corridor from Millennium City Centre to Cyber City is under construction, with phase 1 targeted for 2028 and the phase 2 civil tender cleared in October 2026.

What is the difference between circle rate and market rate?

The circle rate is the government minimum value used to compute stamp duty and registration. The market rate is what buyers and sellers actually agree. The two can differ widely, and the gap changes by sector.

How much has Gurgaon's circle rate gone up in 2026?

Press reports put the April 2026 revision between about 15% and 75%, depending on the sector, with the largest rises on the Dwarka Expressway and the Southern Peripheral Road. Check the official Haryana list for your sector, as the press figures vary.
